A modern farmhouse development takes shape 

MHCM is in the midst of an elegant work-in-progress. Birchwood’s name is inspired by its beautiful setting in Dutchess County’s charming town of LaGrange. The design of this 24-unit, four building development has a farmhouse feel that suits its serene surroundings, close to nature. Before any work was done on the site, MHCM collaborated with environmental experts to create a sanctuary for the endangered Blandings Turtle. When the project is complete, both the new occupants of Birchwood Commons, and the turtles, will be equally comfortable.
